The Wedding

Last weekend we went to Davis, West Virginia to attend Amberlee and Damians wedding. It was seriously the best time I've had in awhile. It was just so relaxing and fun.

Jamie, Jaime, Casey, and I all drove up together. Casey and I got to snuggle in the back the entire time. Jaime and Jamie were nice enough to cart us up there. :) We left on Friday around 11. The drive up there was rainy, but really nice actually. But then again, I was chillin in the back seat so I'm sure not everyone might have thought that it was as calming. We finally got up there around 4, I think, and basically took a nap shortly afterwards. We woke up, went to Big Johns Family Fixins for A&D's wedding rehearsal dinner. That pizza was the shit.
After that we just went back to the room for awhile and started drinking. I think a few of us managed a little dancing in there, too. Our place was the place to be that night.........until the drugs showed up in the other boys room. hahaha.

The next day was the wedding. After everyone got up and chilled for awhile, Casey and I went and got A&D a wedding card from everyone. While we succeeded greatly in finding our way to the nearest store, we also failed miserably in picking out the right kind of card. I guess we somehow missed the big print "Happy Anniversary" on the inside. Oops...
Once we got back and everyone was showered, we started getting ready. I'm not gonna lie. We all looked super hot. I mean, I always knew we were a good looking group of people, but damn if it didn't show that day. And I somehow manipulated the "Halloween costume" rule, where you could come dressed up, into the "John gets to wear makeup" rule.

A short while later, Sarah showed up. Along with Ben and Adam. It's always good to see the WV kids. After that, Grace and Ms. Bach showed up. Again, a pleasure as always. From there it was up the mountain for the wedding! The ride up was terrible. You're on this ski lift, the winds blowin', the air's cold, and getting colder (10 degree's colder at the top, actually). It was just not fun. Cigarettes helped though.
The actual wedding was SO amazing. It was very spiritual and earthy. It was so very A&D. I loved it. I want my wedding to be exactly like that. Right out there in nature. Of course I left my camera in the room. Blah. Once the wedding was over, it was right back to the ski lift and down the mountain. It was freezing. Frigid even. It was so much worse than the way up. hahaha. Casey and I were holding back tears for a little while there.

The wedding was, of course, followed by dinner and party. The food they had was amazing. Vegimite lasagna, stuffed shells, etc...it seriously made my week. Once dinner was over, it was time to drink......and do lots of it. I was definitely taking advantage of the free keg thing. I had so many beers. I can't even remember how many. Plus, I had some green shit they were serving, a long island icetea, some jello shots, and some more beer. So maybe not that much, but I was fucked up. I fell a few times. I'm so embarrassed. I don't want to be that sloppy drunk person that's at the party, but I was just having so much fun. hahaha. Jaime was pretty drunk, too. We all danced for a good while, which is always a blast when I'm blasted. Oh, and did I give a lap dance to A&D's mom? I'm pretty sure I did. And I also have a bruise on my ass from a little tumble I took. I was a wreck. But I was loving it.

That's pretty much it! The next day we had to go home. This "condo" or whatever we were staying at had SO MANY rules you had to follow before you left. Empty the trash (must be 30 pounds or less) and take to the dumpster. Remove all sheets and blankets from beds and place them in the bathroom. Run dishwasher before leaving (this one I'll let slide). Make sure fire in fireplace is out OR make sure metalic curtain is covering it (fire wouldn't go out, and curtain wouldn't close all the way). Place all towels in the washer and start it before you leave. Turn the hot water pipes off. Turn the heating off. Oh, and have a good day! What shit heads. Then they left and envelope for a tip? I wanted to shit in it and leave it waiting for them.

The ride home was swell, too. Again, Casey and I in the back. We stopped at some candy shop, where the girls bought pounds of candy (literally). Oh...and we also stopped at this gas station rest stop, with a diner inside. I know it sounds trashy, but it wasn't so bad. The woman who waited on us was SO NICE! Seriously. Nicest person I've ever met. Super friendly. She'll be sober in 20 years next August. You go girl!

So many memories from this weekend. It was good fucking times.
